Description
Have you ever had back pain at the end of your working day? Have you ever
wondered if there was an easier and safer way of moving your clients? If
you have, you are not alone. This module will give you information
about ways to transfer clients as safely as possible, both for you and
your client.
Who this course is for:
- Individuals who would like to learn more about promotimg safe transfers and back safety in a clinical environment or healthcare setting. Nursing students, physiotherapy students and personal support workers in the healthcare field.

Instructor
Rajeev has a Masters Degree in Nursing within the Administration and
Education stream. Rajeev has been a practicing nurse for over 10 years,
and teaches in the Faculty of Nursing at several colleges in Toronto. Rajeev works as a shift manager at a local Toronto Hospital and in his spare time enjoys reading and swimming. Rajeev brings a wealth of knowledge and experience
to the table and will foster a positive learning experience to all
participants using a variety of teaching methodologies as participants
learn.
