The need for Data Scientists has grown significantly in recent years and these trends will continue to grow. In this Course, we will analyze Business Performance Data in the United States and write up a Practitioner Article/Case Study. We will examine and calculate different types of Statistics such as Descriptive and Inferential Statistics. We will examine different writing formats. The topic that we will examine is the comparative performance of Large and Small Businesses over the last 69 years. We will first classify ALL Businesses in the United States as either a Large Business or Small Business. Next, we will determine the appropriate metrics for measuring performance. Then we will calculate descriptive and inferential statistics. Finally, we will present the results and draw conclusions. At each step, as I conduct the analysis, you will have the opportunity to conduct the analysis for yourself. And the end of the course, you will be able to write up your OWN article on a topic that is related to our study or another that you may be writing for your supervisors or the Board. You will be able to quickly apply the process to your other data analysis and writing projects as well.
