Description
The course is designed as an option for online learners who would like to take RPAS 101 equivalent. RPAS 101 has been carefully crafted and vetted to make sure you get to understand the learning requirements of Transport Canada for RPAS/Drone pilots and their commercial operations. Included in this course is a one on one session with a live instructor VIA skype or telephone. This will allow you to get answers to any outstanding questions or issues. The course covers material such as RPAS systems and make up, problem solving in RPAS, NAV Canada guidelines, and the common goal of integration of RPAS into Canadian airspace. Instructor
David Carlos has been a UAV/RPAS pilot since 2013 and in that time has taught and instructed over 1000 students from all different backgrounds. Carlos also has his Canadian Pilot's License, Standing SFOC, Advanced RPAS Pilot License with Flight Reviewer endorsement by Transport Canada.
When Carlos is not instructing he is often doing complex RPAS operations in built up areas. He also serves local law enforcement and protective services with training and support with RPAS technology.
Carlos is passionate about the safe and responsible employment of drones. He has been involved with Transport Canada in finding out way to effectively and safely integrate RPAS into Canadian airspace.
