This course is a summary of the most important aspects of Rocket Motion, as I have learned it during my study MSc Aerospace Engineering with a specialization in Spaceflight Dynamics at the Delft University of Technology. Instead of an elaborate course on Rocket Science, this course teaches you the basics, with a focus on actually performing the calculations. In particular, I will introduce the necessary theory, we will solve questions together, I will give some questions for you to solve and after provide you with a step by step solution video. There will also be derivation videos, but if you are not comfortable with the mathematics, you can skip these and just apply the formulae. This will be indicated. The mathematics does not get more complicated than relatively simple integration and substitution, contrary what you may expect. The physics used in Rocket Motion is also relatively easy. No specialized knowledge about Aerospace Engineering is required.
I have received an excellent grade for this course and I am confident that you will be able to follow my course and enjoy it. If you do enjoy this course, I would appreciate it if you rate this course. It helps enormously. I am also open to feedback.
