RIP (Routing Information Protocol) is one of the oldest dynamic routing protocol but simplest one. That means if you wish to configure RIP in your routers then you don't require too much of networking knowledge and you will see that it is very simple to be configured.
However, not understand how RIP thinks and works would cause that you don't configure it well on your MikroTik RouterOS. For this reason, I have designed this course which speaks about RIP routing protocol from scratch on MikroTik RouterOS version 7.
The 1st section of the course will be focusing on the theoretical part behind RIP, then in all the remaining sections I will be applying everything in LABS.
To be able to following this course and apply the LABS, you only require a PC with internet connectivity because I will be using GNS3 with MikroTik CHR image to emulate all the LABS.
