Right Brain Education Flashcards: A Guide for Parents

This section will answer three essential questions that you should be aware of before starting your journey:

1. What is right Brain Education?

2. Why is it called Right Brain Education?

3. Why start at an early age?

Dr Roger Sperry introduced the Split Brain Theory, which identified how each side of the brain has different primary functions.

The right hemisphere is dominant in children until the age of six. This impacts our the approaches we should take when educating our young children.

In this section, the videos that follow will answer some of the most commonly asked questions about how and when to use flashcards as well as taking a look at how best to make your own flashcards at home.

A few games you can play with you child to more actively engage them in flashcards:

1. Tap the Card

2. Peek-a-Boo

3. Memory Game

All these games will depend on your child's age and readiness for such an interaction. You will be the best judge of this.

There are plenty more games that can be played. I will be adding some bonus videos in the future to give you some more ideas.
