Instructor
After teaching abroad and in the US and earning both alternative and traditional certifications, I worked as a school leader in two of the largest school districts in the state of Texas. It is now my mission to encourage and equip teachers for school leadership.
Teaching as a member of Teach for America for my first two years, I remained in the classroom as a dual-language instructor for three additional years. During my five years in a US public school classroom, I earned my district's highest honor of Elementary Teacher of the Year. I then took my knowledge of classroom culture and instruction and pursued a degree from Southern Methodist University, graduating with a Masters in Education for School Leadership.
