Research scholars and faculty members of higher education Institutions face problem to resolve the issues related to Ethics in research. Keeping in mind the vast scope of the area and opportunities for young researchers to learn about research ethics, plagiarism, citation, etc. this course entitled “Research and Publication Ethics” is being offered.
This course is divided into 5 sections, the first section is about Ethics, meaning of Ethics and the definition of Ethics as given by various authors. The next section deals with Ethics in Research and how to Incorporate ethical principles in all stages of Research. The next Section will be on Publication ethics and after this the next section will deal with Plagiarism, types of plagiarism and how to avoid plagiarism. The last section of this course will deal with citation, importance of Citation and various styles of citation.
