Description
This refined painting style is perfect to release mental stress and restore your energy. Over 2,000 years ago this art originated from China, and it still enjoys its solid status in the art world today. In this course, we will start from scratch, from the familiarisation of the painting materials to painting various flowers, birds, fruits and insects. We will also discuss relevant Chinese cultural aspects during our lectures.
Like a bottle of good wine, this painting requires patience and care, which you will cultivate along the painting process, where you will slow down automatically, as will the world around you - enjoy this excellent period of peace and quiet.
Our course is the first in a series that focuses on teaching you how to paint the Gongbi style with unique materials, and at the end of this course, you will have your very own lily flower that never withers.
Who this course is for:
- You would like to find your inner peace and relaxation through the painting process
- You are passionate about painting, and you would like to learn this refined unique painting style
Instructor
Hi there, I am an English speaking (fluent) traditional Chinese artist who has been trained in these arts since the age of 5. Now living in Europe, I find it aspiring to share my knowledge with you, especially if you are seeking to relax your mind in an alternative way.
The courses will contain plenty of detailed practical traditional painting / calligraphy techniques that will help you form a solid base, develop your skills or master these arts. In my courses, there will also be useful information in terms of cultural relevance. Additionally, thanks to my two Master's studies and business school work experience, there will occasionally be useful content related to the Chinese business culture from an international perspective.
If you are an old friend of the Chinese art, welcome to join our art family; if you are a future friend, why not have a try at it with me? Look forward to seeing you!
Sincerely,
Fiona
