This is an exercise described by Katie to assess your true needs from your reinvented career - extrinsic rewards, such as salary and benefits; limiting factors, such as the where, when and how.
Katie will take you through an activity in enriching your resources for career reinvention, such as your physical environment, tools and equipment, your online brand and your reinvention fund.

In this module, Katie will guide you through a powerful, physical activity, called "Step into Your Future” where you will integrate everything you’ve learned, discovered and rediscovered as you’ve worked through phase one. You will need to hand six pieces of plain A4 paper, a small notepad and pen and a quiet uninterrupted space with at least 6 feet (1.5 metres) in front of you.

Congratulations for completing Phase Two of the Reinvent Your Career course. We hope you have created a powerful vision for your career and are ready to move into producing possibilities for the shape that your new career might take.
You'll start with this video introduction from Jane explaining what's in store for you during phase three and some advice on how to approach this stage of reinventing your career.
The first module in phase three will enable you will make the transition from the vision you created to generating some more concrete career options. In the second module, you will evaluate a shortlist of options.

In this module, you will work on making the key transition from the vision you've created for your career to generating options for what you might be doing in your reinvented career. Ruth will explain the process to you.
In this module, Katie will describe how you can take the multiple options you generated in the previous module and narrow them to a shortlist of up to three.

During the fourth and final phase of the course, you will decide on and design an action plan for your reinvented career.

In this module, Ruth will take you through how to create a phased action plan for your reinvented career.
In this module, Katie will show you how to identify how to overcome obstacles and create the self-confidence to move towards your inspiring new career.

Then, our Reinvent Your Career course will guide you through a comprehensive journey of taking stock of where you are now, clarifying your vision for your future career, deciding what you want and then planning how to get there.
The content of this course is based on our many years' combined experience in career development coaching and the latest research in psychology and personal development. The course has 17 sequential modules, each of which has a video-based lecture to explain the topic and a worksheet downloadable as a PDF for you to work through an activity on your own at a pace and timing that suits you. We've included a range of interesting and engaging activities, such as self-analyses, guided meditations, reading, educational video clips and TED Talks - something to suit all learning styles. There is a total of 80 minutes in video lectures, 15 hours of practical activities and another 55 minutes in educational video clips.
When we spend so much of our waking time at work, we owe it to ourselves to use that time well.
