Reiki 1- Master Level Certificate + Spiritual Journalling

The learning out comes for this level.

In this lesson students are introduced to the concept of Reiki, what it is, is not, and how it can be used. The concept of human auras, what they are, the colours, and how to read them is also covered. By the end of this lesson, students will fully understand what Reiki is and its power, as well as the limitations for them as a Reiki practitioner, master, and teacher. They will also know how to read auras, and practically carry it out themselves.  There are lesson resources for additional reading and learning. There's also a journalling writing prompt to carry out in the coursework book.

In this lesson, student will learn about how Reiki  was created, it's history and the creator Master Usui. By the end of the lesson, students will have a very good understanding of who the creator was, his life, his achievements and intentions for Reiki, his way of teaching Reiki,and his death.

In this lesson, students learn about two other key Reiki Masters who Master Usui worked with. Mrs. Takata and Dr. Hayashi. Students by the end of the lesson will have a clear understanding of their roles played in the development of Reiki, in the western world, and generally as the practice broadened. Key learning and understanding,  and a bibliography for further reading (optional) are covered in this lesson, in order to fully understand Reiki. There is also a writing prompt, for this lesson and resources too.

In this lesson, students will learn and fully understand the Five Reiki Principles from Master Usui. The principles for all practitioners, teachers, and masters to understand and apply. There is also a spiritual writing prompt here to carry out in the course workbook, and downloadable PDF covering the hand positions.

In this detailed lesson, students are introduced to the links Reiki has to the Chakra system, crystals, elements (fire,air,earth,water), and body organs. Students will learn how to powerfully use Reiki by enhancing their practice with the use of the correct crystals and body areas. Students will also learn how blocked, overactive, underactive and balance chakras can be recognised in themselves, and clients for a more focused and effective Reiki session. A case study is also used to demonstrate. There is a spiritual journalling prompt for the lesson to complete in the course workbook too.

This lesson looks at the Meridian pathways in the body, and how Reiki can be used to send healing to these areas. There's also a detailed how to resource for the lesson, with hand positions.

In this lesson, students will learn about connecting with guides during Reiki sessions, and in general when not doing Reiki. There is also a spiritual writing prompt to carry out in the coursework book, and full details on how to connect with their own guides.

In this lesson, students are introduced to the patron Goddess linked to Reiki, a subject not often taught! This lesson is included as additional information, by myself as a decision as a Reiki Master and teacher. I was not taught this subject, however due to my own love of mythology and the important part that this Goddess plays with her area of rule (healing) this lesson provides students with extra empowerment as a practitioner. There is a writing prompt to carry out in the coursework book, and additional learning resources if students which to continue on this path.

In this lesson, students will understand by the end the ethics of Reiki in terms of why it does not diagnose  and is not designed to work that way. The differentiation between traditional medicine, and the energy healing system of Reiki is clarified.

In this practical lesson, students will learn the hand positions for their own self-treatments.  The aim of this lesson is to empower students to heal themselves, then have the ability to work with others. There is a practical assignment, with  lesson resources, and writing prompt to carry out in the course work book.

In this lesson, key 'side notes' and areas to remember are covered. This is to help assist students with successful self-treatments before they work with others.

In this detailed lesson, students will  learn: 1. how to prepare for an in-person Reiki session (distance Reiki preparation and how to are covered in level two), 2. the hand positions 3. to be confident with their new skill! There are full lesson resources to help with the practical preparation.

This very important lesson highlights how Reiki can be used with children, babies, expectant mothers and those trying to conceive.

In this lesson students are briefly introduced to 'power house Reiki' and how crystals can really enhance this.

This lesson will cover how Reiki can be used in some non-traditional ways such as around the house, office, with your plants, and even during illness or palliative care. This lesson helps students to prepare or the latter,  Reiki during in illness or palliative care is an excellent way to use Reiki, however practitioners do need to consider the bigger picture when working with this demographic of people. Following the learning on the course, or at ant point you feel called to return here for a twenty-five minute Zen Flow reiki session. You can practice on yourself to the music, or use it for general meditation .

In this section we will move away from the specific 'spiritual' journal writing for a moment, and think about writing for self-care, exploration, getting to know who we are, and yes the joy of it! Some say that there is a difference between journal writing vs keeping a dairy.

Journal writing: your 'deep thoughts', how you view the world, yourself, others, life etc. This is a form of record keeping that you would have no real problem with others seeing. It helps to clarify in your mind how you feel about things.

Dairy writing:  your day to day activity, what is going on presently, or in the past, or maybe even what you desire personally in the future. This record may be filled with your deepest and darkest secrets and REAL thoughts about situations, people, places, and things. This information you may wish to be burned before anyone can see it!

Do you keep one, both, or a mixture of both of these at the moment? Do you agree or feel that there is a difference between the two kinds? Either way, the practice of writing out our 'deep thoughts' and how we really feel has so many benefits to a person.
