Recognizing Tyranny In The 21st Century

Authoritarian governments are taking power in many of the countries on this planet. This is causing citizens of the United States to look at the tyranny that within our society. I have lived under the fist of tyranny my whole life, so I created this course to help other people recognize tyrannical behavior. It take a whole society to maintain an authoritarian or fascist social order. This course will help you to recognize supporters of tyranny in your family, at your workplace, in your neighborhood, etc. We do not need to become paranoid, just keep our eyes open and choose our friends with care.  George Orwell’s 1984 is one the greatest books, especially its description of a fascist society operating with extreme success.

I created this course to help you make better decisions in public spaces. I do not want to create or spread distrust. The more knowledge we have, the more good decisions we can make in our lives. We are living in a time of social transition, and the direction of social orders around the world depends on the decisions that we make collectively as a species. This course includes video lectures as well as course notes with citations for anyone who wants to extend scholarship.
