Tuning into your breath helps you to remain grounded with Mama Ocllo

Focusing on our breath is one of the simplest ways we can bring ourselves back into the present moment.

A simple technique is to start by simply taking a slow, deep inhale for 5 counts, and then a slow, deep exhale for 5 counts.

Or exhale deeply three times and notice how your body feels when you’re done.

The beauty of the breath is it’s always available to us. Whenever we need to ground ourselves back into the present moment, our breath is always within reach as an anchor.

Please be prepared to receive Dona Mujia deeply into your sacral chakra.

Gather some flower petals and a small jug of water and a bowl big enough to contain the water (you can do this step outside comes at the end after we return to our home sacred space). If you have a flowing water space nearby I encourage you to take the petals there and release them into the water.

Write down briefly what you would like to be released in different areas of your life (physical – e.g. weight issues, emotional, e.g. relationship issues or baggage, mental, poor memory, and anything they can think of that is holding you back, e.g. poor self-esteem or lack of self-confidence, etc.) 

Make the list succinct and short as you will need to “memorise” the brief list, as this will be blown into the flower petals for release

Spend some time exploring any addictions you may have. Some may be minor and other have more power over your life. Addictions are a way for us to cope with our reality and fill empty holes in our lives. In a journal or with a friend or therapist, explore why you are addicted to something. Ask questions such as: “What place was I at in my life when I started getting addicted to this?” “What do I feel this addiction brings me?” “What is this addiction trying to hide about who I believe I am?” If you’re suffering from a serious addiction, make sure you schedule an appointment with an addiction specialist.

Practice self care towards your sacred body

Explore a free flowing meditation (You can do this sitting, walking, if you have a body of water nearby then work with it). Simply ask Dona Mujia and Taygete to be present with you. State you intention clearly that you would like to accept your body and other physical quirks. Your part in this is to simply stop apologising for how you look and start embracing your unique body and its needs. Empower your sacral chakra with these food types; fruit and vegetables such as coconuts, oranges, apricots, almonds, sweet potatoes, carrots, mangos, passionfruit, and papaya.

Exercise: Open your heart to Dona Mujia and Taygete feeling their presence then imagine a pulsing or swirling ball of luminescent orange light three inches below your belly button. Feel the ball of orange energy dissolving all blockages or aggressive flows of energy within you.

• Lie down on your back, close your eyes, relax, and forget all your daily worries and burdens.
  

• Observe your body, thoughts, and feelings.
  

• Place your hands above the navel.
  

• Relax while you breathe.

A simple and effective despacho ceremony preparation:

Gather two pieces of A4 paper and cut one into a heart shape, place the heart on top

Find some flower petals or leaves if some are available, fresh (or dried) herbs are also suitable to use.

Some string, wool or ribbon to tie your bundle.

Have your heart despacho paper and offerings ready on a table in your sacred room, place the petals and leaves inside the heart.

Call in Doña Theresa simply say "Come Doña Theresa assist the opening of my heart chakra"

Once you have completed this then move onto the initiation ceremony

The despacho then is folded and bound with a ribbon and either placed into a fire, or buried in the sand after the ceremony.

As this is an energetic transmission for the opening of your third eye, inner vision and the way to connect with the spirit realm our homework quit naturally is to keep working at remaining open.

Here is a well-known exercise for you to work with: For transparency sakes, it is one of the exercises in my Bindu Chakra course.

Opening Ajna - our third eye for Huana Huamen Tiklla:

This is done with a specific tone and chant. You only need to do this exercise for 3 days, afterwards, it is permanent.

The mantra to be used is “Thoh,” pronounced “TOE.”

It must be within the correct vibration.

Not deep, not high pitched, in-between, like alto range.

You will feel it when you hit the correct tone. So play around and don’t second guess yourself. When you think you’ve got it, you probably do.

1. Sit with your back straight.

2. Breathe in through your nose and hold your breath as long as is comfortable.

Open your jaws so there is a small space between your top and bottom teeth.

Place the tip of your tongue between the space of your slightly parted teeth.

3. Put a very light pressure onto the tongue with your teeth.

This is like the same process of saying the “TH” part of the English word “the.”

Once your tongue is in position, release your breath slowly through your mouth, saying T-H-H-O-H-H in one long exhale.

Say the word one time per exhalation. Your tongue will be vibrating between your teeth.

You should feel the air moving past your tongue and teeth.

If this technique is done properly, you will feel a pressure or sensation in your jaw and cheeks. The tone will also vibrate in your third eye.

It may take a few seconds to adjust this, don’t worry, just keep going.

4. Do the above 5 times in a row.

5. It is very important the above exercise be done for 3 consecutive days, 24 hours apart.
