You know when you listen to songs over and over again, you find yourself knowing the words without ever having set down to learn them?
Well, that's the same concept behind this course. Since 2004, I've been setting the incredibly powerful, yet simple teachings of Richard Wilkins to music, so I can listen to them over and over again without getting jaded. So, this is more of a collection than a course, a bunch of recordings to download and listen to from time to time, rather than a specific programme to go through.
[btw Richard is the co-founder of the UK's Ministry of Inspiration and has been forging his ideas in the furnace of people development for the last 20 years.]
It's not about the type or even the quality of the music, it's just about tricking that part of your brain that says 'you know this already, you don't need to listen to it again' by having some musically interesting accompaniment.
Anyone familiar with my other courses will realise, it's just the minimal will approach I favour, but this time for learning. I first used this technique for language learning when in Hong Kong and it worked so well that I now use it for everything I need to learn deeply. There's all sorts of neuroscience behind the use of music in learning which I'll leave you to research yourselves.
Or you could just try it - it works. 8 years later I have totally internalised these ideas and they play a central role in all my teaching.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I did putting it together.
All the best

These recordings were mostly made by recording casual conversations with Richard and his partner Liz Ivory, and then seeing what might work musically with it, either adding existing tracks of jamming new stuff live.
