Raising Can-Do Children is a fun, child-centred approach to helping children develop a Can-Do mindset, and essential life skills such as problem solving, resourcefulness, resilience, critical thinking, ambition, and more. It's a tried and tested play based approach backed by top child psychologists, parenting, and early years experts. It helps develop children's can-do attitude to life, helping them make the most of their potential in a fast changing world.
The course is full of real-life examples of families raising can-do children, and over 30 easy, everyday screen-free play ideas for you to put into practice straight away.
As well as recorded sessions, I’m also happy to answer any questions you may have at any point during the course. After each session there will be action points for you to take away and work on. These may consist of questions to ask and explore, activities to try out with your child, and links to articles, or points of reference.

Lorraine is an author, educator, and international consultant with over 20 years' practical business experience working on a wide range of projects involving children and young people from early years through to school leavers. She has a passion for, and specialism in supporting parents and educators to nurture a Can-Do mindset and life skills in children from a young age, through everyday, screen-free play.
She has written numerous articles for digital and paper publications, is author of three books, and works with organisations both in the UK and internationally to develop toolkits and programmes for nurturing a Can-Do mindset and skills in young people. She has developed an Enterprising and Life Skills programme for young learners in South Africa, and works with family centres and educators in UAE, supporting the annual 'Excellence in Early Years' international conference, and delivering parenting and early childhood development webinars.
Lorraine's books include‘The Can-Do Child: Enriching the Everyday the Easy Way’ and 'A Parent's Guide to Easy, Screen-Free Activities Children Will Love'. She presents a fun, child-centred approach to nurturing children’s Can-Do mindset and skills for life, using her unique Three Es’ model of Engagement, Enterprise, and Enjoyment. Lorraine is passionate about helping raise a generation of Can-Do children, who are happy, healthy, confident individuals, achieving their full potential in a fast-changing world.
