Suitable for parents, educators, child carers, home schoolers, student teachers, and anyone interested in child development and parenting who want to nurture children's Can-Do mindset and essential life skills through everyday, screen-free play.
Raising Can-Do Children is a fun, child-centred approach to helping children develop a Can-Do mindset, and essential life skills such as problem solving, resourcefulness, resilience, critical thinking, ambition, and more. It's a tried and tested play based approach backed by top child psychologists, parenting, and early years experts. It boosts the enjoyableness of family time together, and helps develop children's can-do attitude to life, helping them make the most of their potential in a fast changing world.
The course is full of real-life examples of families raising can-do children, and easy, everyday screen-free play ideas, to help you put into practice what you’ve learnt straight away.
As well as recorded sessions, I’m also happy to answer any questions you may have at any point during the course. After each session there will be action points for you to take away and work on. These may consist of questions to ask and explore, activities to try out with your child, and links to articles, or points of reference.
Please note that if you are studying this course after completing the 'Are you raising a Can-Do Child?' Scorecard, you will also receive a free one-to-one, 30 minute coaching session with me. If you have not yet completed the Scorecard and would like the free coaching session, please visit the Can-Do Child web site and follow the link to the Scorecard app now.
As well as the reviews from students here, I wanted to connect you with comments from people who know and love the Can-Do Child® approach. These include parents, educators, pediatricians, and child psychologists.
