The latest version of ISO 9001 is ISO 9001 2015 ✔️, the previous version was ISO 9001 2008 ✔️- in this lecture, we will discuss the difference between ISO 9001 2008 vs 2015 versions. There are some things I want to clarify here, till today (14-Jan-2021) ISO 9001:2020 ❌ or ISO 9001:2018 ❌ does not exist. As ISO 9001 has a frequency of 5 years, people expected the release of ISO 9001:2020 ❌ but this was not happened.
I will describe introduction about ISO 9001 in this lecture, what is ISO 9001, what is the history of the ISO 9000 family of standards, in what years the various versions were released. The ISO 9001 was based on the british standard institute / british standards institute / bsi BS 5750 series of standards proposed to ISO in 1979 and later adopted by ISO on 1987 the first version was released in 1987
In this lecture, you will get to know about how many types of audit findings and non conformity, nonconformities, non conformance are there. As a rule of thumb after the issuance of nonconformity, the auditor is responsible for the grading of the nonconformity as major or minor and the auditee is responsible for the identification of root cause / causes or corrective actions / corrective action for that specific non conformity.
In this lecture, apart from the lecture, you can also download two free resources, one of them is an e-book which is available for 4.99 $ on Amazon Kindle, but you will get it for free!
