Description
For people who are new to Quality Improvement (QI), there are lots of conflicting and competing methods, techniques, tools and opinions on how to improve any given care process or service which can be confusing and time consuming
Our aim is to make the QI journey for beginners as simple as possible; QIPstart offers learning about QI which will guide you through a structured process in a expedited time frame, leading to rapid learning and change.
By the end, you will have taken steps to physically improve your chosen area and developed a solid foundational knowledge from which you can build on; having robust evidence of your QI programme which you can use as evidence for your portfolio, support with business cases or just to facilitate personal development.

Tom has worked across the healthcare landscape for almost a decade including supporting Small-Medium enterprise to development innovation for the NHS, teaching Quality improvement methods to clinicians and driving Improvement through a hands on approach within providers across dozens of organisations. He has a MSc in Quality and Patient Safety Improvement, has published in academic journals and has presented at multiple national and international conferences on applying and upskilling healthcare staff with Quality improvement methods.
Tom now supports training and education of healthcare staff through Quality Improvement Partners who's mission is to "To instill a philosophy of continuous improvement for health and social care professionals"
