Prepare for the PyTorch Certified Associate (PTCA) certification with 5 practice exams containing 60 questions each, providing 300 multiple-choice questions in total.
Every question supports a documentation-based review workflow:
Question → Answer → Detailed Explanation → Official PyTorch Documentation
All 300 questions include an official PyTorch documentation source, allowing you to independently verify the technical basis behind each answer.
Every question includes an overall detailed explanation, while each of the four answer options has its own explanation. This helps you understand not only why the correct option works, but also why the alternative choices do not satisfy the requirement.
The complete question bank contains:
5 practice exams
60 questions per exam
300 total questions
300 multiple-choice questions
Detailed overall explanations
Explanations for correct and incorrect options
Official PyTorch sources for every question
The practice exams follow the four current PTCA domains: PyTorch Fundamentals, Model Development, Performance & Optimization, and Data Handling.
The official weighting is 38% PyTorch Fundamentals, 20% Model Development, 26% Performance & Optimization, and 16% Data Handling. Each 60-question practice test contains 23, 12, 16, and 9 questions across these areas, providing the closest practical whole-question implementation of those percentages.
Coverage includes tensors, autograd, model training and evaluation, CPU and accelerator devices, neural network modules, losses and optimizers, mixed precision, torch.compile, profiling, performance measurement, distributed training, datasets, DataLoaders, transforms, sampling, and training-data workflows.
Questions emphasize practical PyTorch decisions, code behavior, troubleshooting, and correct machine-learning workflows rather than simple terminology recall.
Use the tests for structured preparation: complete a practice exam, review every answer explanation, consult the referenced official documentation, identify weak domains, and revisit those PyTorch concepts before attempting another test.
The official PTCA exam is an online, proctored, multiple-choice assessment with a 120-minute duration. The Linux Foundation currently classifies the certification at the Beginner experience level and lists no prerequisites.
Course summary: 5 practice exams, 60 questions each, 300 total multiple-choice questions, detailed option-level explanations, official PyTorch sources for every question, and coverage aligned with the current PTCA blueprint.
