Numerology is an ancient study that draws meaning from different numbers, number combinations, letters, and symbols in your life. This knowledge can help us tap into the underlying patterns of personality and reveal new truths about us.

Pythagoras was hailed in his day for being a brilliant philosopher and mathematician. Pythagoras believed that the world was built on the power of numbers and that everything and anything could be translated to numerical form, usually in single digits. The idea of assigning letters to numerical values is known as the Pythagorean Number System and is used in modern numerology.

Numerology, or the science of numbers, is all about numbers, and their vibrational bent aids the numerologists to predict the future of the person. Numerologists presume that numbers hold the strength to influence the person’s traits as well as the events that occur in their lives. Numerology, in general, studies the total sum of the numbers that occur on the date of birth of an individual with the numerological correspondent of the alphabet in their name.

Being said that, we can also say that numbers in all forms are associated with the lives of a person in some way or the other. Also, the month when a particular event has occurred could be reduced to a specific number, and the same applies to the year and the date (if double-digit) as well. Thus, one can say that numerology is the type of prophecy, a divination science that depends on such specific numbers and the analysis depending on them.

One thing I want to clarify is that just knowing theory will not make you a good numerologist. Only practice will do it and collection of data. So do more and more analysis of people that you know and even of people you do not know. This will improve your predictions.
