Punjabi suits and Punjabi salwar are traditional wear for all age group feminine beauty and now the craze for this attire is spreading worldwide. In ethnic events or casual get together, Punjabi Salwar Suits are preferred choice by majority of females in India. This clothing is loved by all women and is very much comfortable. During wedding season girls always prefer to wear salwar kameez because of its diverse advantage of giving perfect style, sheer luxury and great comfort fit. In these traditional outfits, there is lot of trending innovations being introduced. These dresses are suitable for all functions whether it is a wedding, party, traditional function or any other function or you can say it is common clothing wore by maximum women.


Punjabi salwar and suits are made up of fabric like georgette, crepe, Silk cotton and much more . Salwar and suit looks more elegant after embroidery work and various designs done in it, the printed duppatta too are gaining an heart throbbing attention in recent times.


In the ancient Punjab region, people wore cotton clothing. The tops lied till knees for both the genders. A scarf was worn over the tops which would be draped over the left shoulder and under the right. A large sheet would be further draped over one shoulder which would hang loose towards the knees. Both sexes wore a dhoti around the waist. Modern Punjabi dress has retained this outfit but over its long history has added other forms of dress.
