Description

Students and scientists are expected to publish book chapters and complete books. However, publishing books with the most prominent book publishing companies takes years and, in many cases, does not provide authors with financial rewards. Therefore, most authors believe it is not worth writing a book in a time-consuming and lengthy process. Today, authors can use Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing or Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) to submit, publish and sell a book on Amazon within 24 hours. Moreover, if the book is priced between $2.99 and $9.99 -- 70% royalty option is offered to the author. I will discuss all details of how to self-publish a short academic book in one week. Microsoft word template will be provided to draft the book and update the table of content. In addition, I will consider how to design electronic, paperback, and hardcover. Typically, scientific books discuss authors' opinions and cite literature (other books, research papers, review papers). In addition, books can contain reproduced graphics materials from other sources. I will discuss obtaining permission to reproduce copyrighted material and how to prepare 2D and 3D graphics for the book. Practical strategies to draft books using own wording, professional vocabulary, academic phrasebank, proofreading English, and self-check for plagiarism are included. Details on how to set the final price, upload the cover and text, and submit the book will be shown.
