Can Christians study or utilize psychology? Do psychological studies help us understand the Bible or vice versa? There are many heated opinions on how Christianity and psychology relate or do not relate to each other. In this course, we will discuss how Christians can engage with the field of psychology from a Christian perspective. Using systematic theology as the structure for the course, participants will explore how different components of the special revelation of scripture acts as the foundation for the general revelation found in the study of the human mind and behavior. In the questions for further study, participants will pursue guided research in psychology as well as reflect on their own thoughts on each section of the course.
