Requirements
- Students need to purchase or acquire basic watercolour supplies, including paints, paper and brushes Supply list available in lecture 2
- Students should be able to print the resource guide, photo and transfer references.
Description
Learn how to bring colour, composition and techniques together to create a watercolour work of art!
As we paint, we will review the basic information of watercolour paper, paints and brushes from previous courses.
This course was especially made for novice students or seasoned artists to encourage them to try a new technique, creating clothes shadows and have fun by 'doing'.
Proud Grandpa make an excellent reference for learning how to paint skin tones and shadows on the clothes.
Students will begin developing their own personal skills for future paintings.
Teacher available for any questions during and after this course. She would love to see your original paintings.
Students will receive 2.5 hours of video supported with written and verbal step-by-step instructions
At the end of this course, you will have a beautiful, final masterpiece "Proud Grandpa" to be proud of! Happy Painting
Who this course is for:
- This course is suited for the Novice or those Artists who wish to learn new techniques
- Non painters should take Module 1 (Birch trees) and Module 2 (Northern lights) prior to register for this course
Instructor
Proud member of the Southampton Art Gallery and School in Canada since 2011, Saugeen Artists Guild and Federation of Canadian Artists.. She has two passions travel and watercolours by teaching on art conventions and three cruise lines. She has traveled to new destinations on cruise ships teaching watercolour during sea days. She instills art appreciation to her students and promote creativity. Bev proves her ability to maintain a highly motivated classroom, offers individualized support and provide encouragement to ensure that each student succeeds. During this Covid pandemic, her in person classes were replaced by small zoom classes. She is looking forward to 'in person' classes this year.
She is mostly self taught, but enjoys taking workshops with other artists to learn and continuing grows as an artist.
