Course Description
Production systems; Quantitative methods for forecasting; Aggregate planning; Inventory control;
Materials requirement planning; Production scheduling; Capacity planning; Manpower planning and
facility design; Shop floor control. Enterprise resource planning systems (ERP).
2. Course Main Objective
The objective of the course is to provide the basic knowledge in the field of production planning and
inventory control in product and service companies, and the acquisition of competencies for the
implementation of modern systems for planning, directing, and controlling
