At the end of this lecture, you will have competently assessed your industry and competitor landscape, gaining a good knowledge of factors and forces that could have impact on your industry or company profits. You will have completed competitor analysis on your top competitor set and you'll have a good understanding of where your threats and opportunities lie within the marketplace.

Our customers are our most valuable asset. By the end of this lecture you will have put the wheels in motion to conduct your customer analysis, which will provide very important insight for your plan.
The last part of research is looking at your own internal resources and capabilities - what you have or don't have to execute the plan. Then we summarise in a SWOT. This is where you compile all your research and insight into an actionable summary, weighted by priority.
In this last lecture, I will coach you through setting the targets and working out the return on investment from your marketing plan. Then you're ready to put your plan into action!
