Description

Course Objective : The objective of a Principles of Management course is to provide students with a broad understanding of the key concepts and principles of management. This includes an understanding of the roles and responsibilities of managers, the different management functions, and the various approaches to management.

Throughout the course, students will learn about the four main functions of management: planning, organizing, leading, and controlling. They will gain an understanding of how to set goals and objectives, allocate resources, delegate tasks, and measure performance. Additionally, students will learn about different leadership styles and how to motivate employees to achieve organizational goals.

Another key aspect of Principles of Management is understanding the different approaches to management. Students will learn about classical management theories such as scientific management, administrative management, and bureaucratic management. They will also explore contemporary management approaches such as human resource management, contingency management, and systems management.
