Vox EQ - 3 Step Process8:01
Distinguish vocal from instrumental and shape with a stock EQ. Use a low cut, tame the mid-range, and switch to peaking to add shine.

Use a de-esser technique with a compressor to tame sibilance by targeting 6 kHz with side-chain filtering, adjusting threshold, ratio, knee, attack, release, and makeup gain for vocal clarity.
