Welcome to Present Like A Pro!
Prepare for the challenge by finding a presentation you would like to work on. It can be one you have coming up, or one you have done in the past that you would like to improve.
This video is your introduction to the framework.
Once you have watched the video, comment in the Q&A section below with your key learning from the session.
In this video I walk through tactics to engage your Quadrant 1 learners. The WHY helps provides people a purpose and motivation behind their learnings, and is where we draw the primary value of knowledge.
After you have watched the video please post your biggest learning in the Q&A section below. Tell me how you are going to implement what you have learned, and your ideas for Q1.
Any questions and comments are welcome as well.
In today's video we explore how to best engage with Quadrant 2 learners.
I had an experience with a Quadrant 2 in a webinar recently. I thought it is worth sharing with you for a real life example.
I was debriefing a group of 3 people in emotional intelligence. The obvious Q2 asked technical questions, queried the validity of the MSCEIT (EI Test), and got very sidetracked into data.
So how do you handle this?
I answered his questions to start with, then when it was obvious we could head down a rabbit burrow of detail, I simply answered him with "that's a great question, and we don't have time to give it justice in this webinar. Let me email you the details after we get off the line".
He was satisfied, and we didn't lose the others in the group with too much detail.
Of course, I sent him what I had promised. Don't make the mistake of not following through. A Q2 expects you to deliver.
Please post your thoughts, ideas and questions in the Q&A section below.
In this video I will discuss how to best engage Quadrant 3.
Knowledge is great, but Applied Knowledge is even greater. Show real tips and techniques for practically applying the knowledge you are sharing with your audience.
Please add your comments, thoughts, ideas, and questions in the Q&A below the video.
Welcome back! Its Day 5 of the Challenge where I am going to walk you through how best to engage with your Quadrant 4 learners. Q4s are challenging, but easier to engage than you might think.
Drop your thoughts, ideas, and questions in the Q&A below.
In this video I will walk you step by step through the time saving, stress less template for nailing the 4Mat system.
Download your template before we begin, so you can refer to it as we work together and design your Powerful Presentation.

SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE DO MORE THAN JUST COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY. THEY ARE ALSO MASTERS OF THE POWERFUL PRESENTATION
Presenting skills are critical to YOUR professional success. Human Resource Managers prioritize communication and presenting skills when hiring or promoting.
Clearly, you need to stand out as a presenter in order to get ahead.
Yet, most companies provide little or no communication or presenter training to their employees.
How do you present confidently without training? How do you gain that critical edge over your peers when it comes to that pay rise or promotion?
My name is Ros Cardinal. I’m an Executive and Leadership Coach, and I’ve presented to thousands of people during my career. I realized fairly early on that the conventional presentation advice out there isn’t all that helpful. I imagine you’ve heard it all:
Prepare
Speak from the heart
Use notes
Don’t use notes - use slides
None of this often conflicting advice really worked for me. I knew there had to be a better way. So I put on my research hat. I analyzed and compared approaches and methodologies. When I discovered The Critical Framework for Brilliant Presentations, I knew it was the answer.
