Description

Business goes remote. The business stage is becoming virtual. And presenting is turning more and more into camera acting. This means that all the tricks you have developed for your performance on the analogue business stage now have to be played a different way: you have to present to the camera, the screen, a virtual audience. The key challenges remain the same as on the analogue business stage: how do I draw my audience's attention to the things that are important to me? And how do I use my own personality to do this in a credible way?

The tools you use are, to a certain extent at least, different from those you use on the analogue stage. Why? Because presenting live in a conference room or for a larger audience follows different rules than working with and for the camera.

What exactly is different? Together, we'll look at five topics.

First: the consequences that arise for you from your dual role of presenter and moderator, which you usually take on in virtual meetings.

Second: how you can pack your content into an effective story in remote situations.

Third: which performance criteria should you consider in front of the camera?

Fourth: your options for entering into dialogue and interacting with your virtual audience.

And fifth: I want us to take a look at the technological setting in which you should be operating.

For each of these topics, I will provide three tools to ensure that your appearance in front of the camera is effective. Add them together and you will have 15 tips from the toolbox of screenwriters, directors and actors that you can implement immediately.

Who this course is for:

  • Managers and team members. Everybody who wants to get a toolbox how to make an impact in virtual / remote meetings with clients and colleagues.
