Description

Welcome to Creative Dance! Children across the world love to dance. Parents and caregivers should take advantage of this enjoyment as dance is also a great way to help a growing child.

Preschool children particularly learn through physical and sensory experiences and dance helps them develop a wider understanding and skill of physical, emotional and social development.

In these classes we focus on movement for 2 to 4 year old girls and boys. The intention of these classes are to explore with the children the many ways our bodies can move with many fun exercises that will take them on imaginative journeys with castles, butterflies, dragons, sea creatures and more.

This course will help children:

  1. Understand and negotiate the world through reaching, jumping, balancing, hopping

  2. Will learn to follow instructions

  3. Learn co-ordination, balance, flexibility, how to control their bodies in motion and the development of your child's gross and fine motor skills

  4. Gain strength, stamina, muscle-tone and cardiovascular health

  5. Be active and get exercise

  6. Learn about themselves - their own strengths, their creativity, their uniqueness

Once a child begins dancing at an early age, they are not only learning a valued art form but also getting training for life that is ahead of them.

We trust you will enjoy this course as much as we did making it!
