What you'll learn

- To achieve the ability to undertake quantity take-offs, and use unit rates for materials, plant, equipment and subcontractors
- To be capable of calling for subcontract tenders that allow for the subcontracts to be reviewed equally
- To be able to present the summary schedules for tender
- To be capable of entering into post tender negotiation
- Basic understanding of construction projects
Participants will develop a good practical understanding of the process involved in preparing a tender submission and presenting and negotiating tenders in the building and construction industry.
Duration of Study
The pace at which each student studies is different. The nominal hours for this course are 20 hours, however, this can vary greatly depending on your previous experience and study techniques. Student support is available by asking a question online or visiting our website.
