A seated pose serie to settle in, ground yourself and start working on loosening the back. During these seated pose, you will be guided with the breath and get in touch with the perineum to start making it flexible. A great way to start the class or to do separately to help release the lower back, middle back and upper back.
A warm up for the spine and side stretch to prepare you for a special sun salutation adapted for you with tadasana (mountain pose) to ground you and give you strength.
A standing series pose to strengthen the legs so that the upper body feels lighter and you feel stronger followed by a series of perineum exercices that will help you deliver and help your baby have an easier way out.
You will start at the wall with Tree pose, which is a hip opener and a great pose to fell empowered. Then ardha uttanasana at the wall; turning your feet in is an amazing pose for sciatica and opening the scarum. Legs up the wall is a pose I recommend to do everyday, coming home from work or after walking a lot, and experience the true benefits or inversion-total relaxation of the nervous system. If you have issues with insomnia, I recommend legs up the wall (the hardest part being getting out of bed!). But if you do, and do this pose for 3 to 5 minutes you will go back to sleep!
On the floor, a series of poses to help you with sciatica, help you release the sacrum, and extend the whole spine. A must everyday to release the tension in the lower back and make you feel relaxed.
Dive into a deep relaxation for wholeness and well being!
This is the entire 75-minute class, so if you have time, please do this one. Otherwise, you can refer back to the smaller
