Premiere Noob To Pro (Youtube Editing Masterclass)

Beginner to pro in Premiere Pro through a hands-on course that guides you to open project, import footage, cut, edit with me, add music and animations, and export with settings.

Start a Premiere Pro 2024 project by downloading the video assets. Create a new project on your desktop in a folder named project, name it test project, and click create.

Configure Premiere Pro workspaces by arranging and docking panels, save a custom workspace, enable autosave, and use the source, program, timeline, and effects panels to start importing and editing footage.

Import media in the project window, then drag videos from the assets folder into the project file. Switch to icon view to scrub the timeline in the video bin.

Drag media onto the timeline to create a sequence, then adjust sequence settings to 1080p, 30 fps for YouTube. Import audio, mark in/out, and save your project.

Start fresh by deleting everything, select all with the selection tool (D), and cut silence with the razor C. Turn on snap with s, and link audio and video with ctrl l.
