Instructors
I have been teaching Japanese in Japan and Thailand, also tutoring online to students all over the world from kids to adults with all levels from beginners to advanced.
My background:
I studied eduction for 4 years at university and became a nursery teacher at a nursery school (childcare institute) in Japan in 2011. My interest shifted towards teaching languages after graduating from an English language school in Europe. I began teaching Japanese to foreign children and English to Japanese children. Since then, my passion for teaching Japanese has continued to grow, leading me to expand my teaching to include not only children but also adults. I have experience of teaching people of all ages and at various Japanese proficiency levels. Additionally, I have assisted many learners in passing the JLPT (Japanese language Proficiency Test) and securing jobs in Japan. In my tutoring sessions, I have encountered students who were either complete beginners or had struggled with learning in a traditional school setting. They sought a tutor who could provide more detailed explanations and help them improve naturally. I have always strived to give each student satisfaction in class and motivate them to enjoy their journey towards improving their Japanese.
My professions:
- Japanese teacher/tutor
- English tutor for Japanese speakers
- Nursery teacher/childcarer
- Kindergarten teacher
I am a Japanese teacher currently living in Japan with more than 4 years of teaching experience.
Since I was a child, I have always enjoyed talking to different people, so I decided to study English with the aim to connect to different cultures and more people. Later, I became interested in Italian culture and studied Italian language in the beautiful city of Florence, Italy.
This is when I understood the importance and the beauty of learning a foreign language. The study of the Italian language and culture simply changed who I am and how I see the world. This experience led me to become a Japanese teacher. Learning a new language means learning new values and ways of thinking. Deeping the Italian culture, actually made me appreciate more who I am and where I am coming from. After my studies in Europe I decided to return to Japan and since then I am a Japanese language teacher and a forever Japanese culture learner. It is my great pleasure to teach the Japanese language and give my students the chance to connect to a different world.
I have taught students of all ages and cultural backgrounds. Many of my students have passed the JLPT and some have gone on to study in Japan. In my lessons, I strive to maximize my students' interests and curiosity because we learn most effectively when our interests are maximized, and curiosity is a great motivator to lead our lives.
I would be very happy to accompany you on your Japanese language journey!
