4. Format text and graphics: You'll never be annoyed with out-of-control formatting again. We'll look at how to insert text from other applications, web pages, and other sources (e.g. ChatGPT) correctly on the first try, without spending hours on formatting. You'll also learn all the different ways to insert text, how to use text boxes, fonts, and the right contrast to help your audience absorb your message as quickly as possible.
5. Images, graphics, videos: Visual elements are a core part of every presentation. Let's take a look at what sources are available, how to avoid copyright issues and how to insert, format and link graphics correctly. In step-by-step tutorials, I'll show you how to create almost any graphic in PowerPoint yourself, from freeform surfaces to SmartArts. From cutting 2D graphics from the Microsoft 365 database to a world map, you'll learn everything PowerPoint can do.
6. 3D graphics and 3D models: We will now work together to create simple and complex 3D models from simple 2D shapes. We'll look at the 3 types of 3D models all the way to 3D animations. All in step-by-step demos to follow.
7. Tables and data: Very often we need to compress complex data and content and make it understandable. How to do that and how to create, insert, compress and format tables and data from Excel we will look at in this section.
8. Diagrams: When you finish this section, you will be able to create visually great and understandable diagrams in a flash. You will learn all the ways of inserting diagrams, their advantages and disadvantages. Formatting and how to avoid the "color trap". All in all, how to skillfully implement your "corporate colors" in your diagrams. You will be able to present your diagrams in a meaningful way and get to the heart of the message.
9. Slide masters, slide layouts and templates. We'll look at different sources of slide templates together and what to look for. You will be able to edit and set up slide masters, slide layouts and backgrounds in minutes. You'll master how to properly set up headers, footers, page numbers and more on different levels. You'll even be able to fix messes and presentations that often result from collaboration with other colleagues.
10. Color schemes: We will look together where you can get professionally matched color schemes (internet sources), how you can implement and change them (e.g. with HEX code or RGB). How to avoid importing wrong color schemes from other applications and how to correct them if necessary. You will be able to use automatic shading but also freeze colors where you need to. #TopHack: How to "get" colors from other applications with the eyedropper.
11. Animations: You will perfectly master the full range of all animations, animation effects, multiple animations, animation paths. The use of triggers, time delays and much much more will be standard for you. You will learn which ones actually support you and your audience, and which ones interfere or distract. Together we'll build examples of how to use animation to explain complex content step-by-step to make it understandable to your audience in the shortest amount of time. We will even build little movies and tools.
12. Interactive presentations: You'll watch over my shoulder as I use slide zoom and section zoom to create presentations where you can interact individually as needed by sections and respond to professional questions.
13. Morphing: I will show you how to install and apply the function correctly from the ground up, how to master all the special effects and how to install interactive effects up to the "magnifying glass effect" using several examples.
14. Transitions with Zoom: The pinnacle of presenting is an interactive presentation with zoom. After completing this chapter, you will be able to create interactive dashboard presentations within minutes using drag & drop. With tiles, images or transparent buttons. You will master: Slide Zoom, Section Zoom, and how to use Summary Stum to automatically convert your entire presentation to interactive with just a few clicks.
15.
