The substation is a vital part of the transformation of electrical energy. Electrical energy is easily transformed through various electrical component of substation. We use electrical energy in our daily life which comes through the transmission line connected to the substation. We can say that substation is energy hub. A power plant substation is different than your average substation because it usually serves just one power plant. A power plant substation takes in hydroelectric, coal, nuclear, or natural gas-fired electricity and sends it back into the grid after transforming it into AC current.
How a substation can be installed? This course starts with a step-by-step approach covering from planning, management, basic documents, electrical items to be installed, installation and checking process, testing, and finally handover. Will give you the capability to handle the installation process of substation. You'll need to find the optimal location for your substation, make sure the land is big enough, and survey it to determine any environmental factors that could interfere with construction. Here are some things you should know before installing a power plant substation in your area.
The course also enriched with my practical experience while installation and commissioning of power projects. I worked as project director of 6 (six) power projects. Some of my critical experience has been included in curriculum.
We then go on to study, finally, you will be confident to handle the installation project.

I am an engineer having a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering. The focused area is Power Generation, energy conversion, the distribution system. I worked for more than 28 years in the relevant Power field and presently also continuing. I am the Director of a company named Polaris Tech Ltd.
As a profession, I served as Project Director for Power Plant erection, test, trial, and commissioning. Successfully completed 06 (six ) power plant project with a total capacity of 610 MW. Those plants were Gas based and HFO based engines. Wide practical experience on power plant design, erection, power evacuation line, substation, power plant operation, test trial, and commissioning. I feel that, leadership, knowledge, and project management capability plays a great role. In the practical field, I found that proper training in the relevant field and application of knowledge are also key of success.
I was trained on MAN engines from Germany, Wartsila engines from Finland, GEC ALSTHOM from England, ZC engines from China, energy meter from Switzerland.
I carried out research on various topics like Power Generation loss, transformer faults finding, and energy efficiency which are published at the Research gate.
Business, Teaching and Consultancy is my prime focus. I like consultancy and teaching.
