In this lecture you will go through 6 ways to help you develop yourself so as to boost and build your confidence. There is a six step activity for you to complete.
While doing this activity you are encouraged to think of someone you admire. Someone you wish to be like. You need to spend time and think of their qualities and in what ways you are similar to this person as well as what areas you lack. You also need to look up what are the qualities that they have that you need to possess in-order to be like them and how you plan to achieve this.
In this lecture you will go through an opening activity. You will learn what causes stress and what it does. You will also look at some of the ways you can manage stress and get organized.
This lecture begins by explaining how you identify what is important and what is urgent.
The lecture includes a mindfulness activity that you can use and practice whenever you find yourself stressed and need to relax.
Mindfulness is a type of meditation that helps you focus on your feelings at the given moment, without being judgmental about yourself. The practice involves using breathing methods, sounds and guided imagination to soothe and relax the body and mind and help reduce stress.

In this course Part II or Power of You - Series II, Self Confident Speaker, Managing Stress Staying Organized, you will build ways on how to develop confidence in public speaking and also how to manage un-necessary stress and stay organized. Check out the course curriculum.
Likewise, in part III, Elements of First Impression, you will look at the much needed etiquette to highlight the power within yourself and the necessary communication both verbal and non-verbal, including the messages that our clothing and neatness sends out.
Completing all three series will give you an overall change in your personality both from the inside as well as the outside with the help of the practice activities.
