This course is presented in six modules designed to be taken over about six weeks. Ideally I would like you to practice the techniques you learn in each module for about a week before progressing to the next module. Some may choose to first view the entire course, and then start practicing the techniques described in each module.
Each module contains a powerful guided meditation containing brainwave entrainment tracks to deepen your practice and help induce your relaxation response. These guided meditations are each designed to promote a specific process for healing the body and mind. I recommend you listen to the guided meditations in a quiet place using earphones or earbuds to get the maximum effect.
As the modules progress, the guided meditation techniques become more advanced. Theses advanced meditation techniques are most effective if you master the basics of meditation and mindfulness taught at the beginning of the course. These basics include diaphragmatic breathing, engaging present moment awareness, and inducing the relaxation response.
For each of the more advanced guided meditations, I've included a downloadable ebook to help you fully understand the intention and process.

As I’ve pointed out, everything is energy.
The paradox is that even empty space is made up of energy. Energetic particles permeate our entire universe.
Everything in your body is a form of energy, including your thoughts, as the energy of consciousness. And that is one reason why prayer is effective for healing.
So the just of this guided meditation is:
I’ll get you to place your attention on empty space. This gets you out of your monkey mind, and starts to increase the amount of alpha waves in your brain. And as I teach in module 4, a predominance of alpha waves is associated with relaxation.
I walk you through the process of becoming aware of the space within your body. We go deeper and deeper until you become aware of the space between your DNA.

Three basic questions to ask yourself in discerning if a belief is a truth:
- Does this belief serve my highest good?
- Is this belief holding me back in any way?
- Do I absolutely know it to be true?
Testing for limiting beliefs by using positive core affirmations:
- Say a positive core affirmation out loud. I provide these for you in the next lecture.
- Does it feel right or resonate with you when you say it out loud?
- If not, you may be holding a limiting belief in your subconscious mind regarding his core affirmation.
Then I introduce you to a process for removing this limiting belief from your subconscious mind.

Placebo - a substance containing no active substance or a sham procedure with no active procedure.
A placebo is used as a "control" in clinical studies to help test for the true effectiveness of a medication or procedure.
Placebos can be as effective or even more effective than real medicine or real procedures.
The ritual of the therapeutic act is a key player in the placebo effect and includes:
- beliefs and expectations
- memories of prior therapies
- sight of practitioners and healthcare facilities
- interactions of other people and patients
- syringes or other medical devices
- color, taste, and smell of medications
- words of doctors and other healthcare providers
The psychological components of the placebo effect can be used to your benefit by:
- setting expectations for getting well in your meditations, which reduces anxiety and turns on your inner physician by increasing parasympathetic tone in your autonomic nervous system
- learning through conditioning yourself to feel what it is to be well in your meditations, which shifts your physiology
- maximizing the psychology of social learning by reading about or hearing about others getting well
- reinforcing your expectations by using mindfulness and meditation to guard against negative thoughts
This is a more detailed description (with scientific citations) of how to maximize the psychological variables of the placebo effect, combined with meditation, to make the power of the placebo effect work for you. The best part is that you don't need to physically take a placebo, or sugar pill, for this to work.
