The power of Power BI, from start to finish, will teach you how to analyze data and turn it into graphs that help facilitate decision-making for different users. You will learn to use Power BI features and even do some very simple programming within Power BI to create custom calculations. You’ll be able to generate charts with your new variables and create dashboards using bar charts, tree maps, donuts, columns, and maps to showcase cities around the world where certain events took place. With filters and slicers, you’ll empower your users to navigate the data and find answers to their questions in a very user-friendly way.

This visualization course will take you from downloading Power BI Desktop to creating a dashboard that answers questions about the Olympic Games held throughout history, starting with the first games in Athens. You’ll uncover, through graphical representations, whether there’s any relationship between athletes’ body mass index and their chances of winning medals, explore the evolution of women’s participation in all sports, analyze the age trends of athletes, and answer many more questions through graphs!
