Polymer  Science & Technology course aims to share knowledge about the importance of polymers in various fields and helps the students to learn how to synthesize and analyze the polymer. This course provide an idea about processing and fabrication  of various products made up of polymer. This is a multidisciplinary course which will give students a rich understanding of chemistry, properties, processing, characterization and application of polymers. There are wide range of polymers are considered including commodity polymers, biodegradable polymers, specialty polymers , composites, nanotechnology , civil engineering, automobile, aircraft, electronics. To provide knowledge  about polymer chemical structures, physical properties, processing methods and ultimate applications and also gives knowledge and understanding of the materials science principle that tells the behavior of polymers and other materials. To develop skills in synthesis and characterization of polymers. This will help to make research skills in students in polymer field .This will gives an idea for making different types of structures and products out of polymers like synthetic fibers, rubbers, moulded materials etc. Students who studying this course can find jobs in many industries like petrochemical, packaging, sports, pharmaceuticals, perfumes and in many polymer research fields.
