  • Setting-up your podcast6:30

You probably think that it is a challenging task to launch a podcast, that you would need to make use of professional tools and a radio voice. In fact, to launch your own podcast, you only need to have something to say, a message to convey. It is your lucky day as you have come to the right place. Launching a podcast is easier than you think! We all have something to say, and a podcast is a great means and effective tool to express yourself.

In the first episode of the Podcast Academy of LiLiCAST, you will find the right tools and knowledge to shape your ideas.

  • Facing the microphone7:05

There we go! Now that you have finally decided to start, you are probably feeling a bit anxious, which is absolutely normal; It can be quite challenging to bring your ideas to life and share them with the world. The mic is plugged in but not switched on, you are connected to LiLiCAST's interface, and now... what's next?

Follow our tips and create podcasts quickly and easily with LiLiCAST.

  • Structuring your thoughts6:55

To convey your message, I would like to advise you to visit the basics of journalism, which means the 5Ws principle by answering the questions starting with the following interrogative words: Who, what, where, when, and why. However, since your podcast is not a news article, you do not need to strictly stick to those questions. This principle has been inspired by Aristotle, and it can be a good source of inspiration when you lack some creativity or do not know what to start with.

Ready to get your message out? Do it easily with LiLiCAST.

  • How to conduct an interview7:34

Conducting an interview is like playing a game. But more like a tennis match rather than a boxing match. We do not attack but throw the ball back. However, a brutal winning setback should not be excluded. Do not ask complex questions straight away, take the time to layout your topic. But don't avoid the tough questions if there are any: your audience will get the impression that you are not sincere and that you are all in favor of your interlocutor. It is possible to ask complicated or unsettling questions and still be respectful.

Now that you know everything about how to conduct an interview, you can use LiLiCAST to easily record it.

  • What does an ideal podcast look like5:51

The Duration, frequency of publication, subject matter... Would you like to know the recipe for an ideal podcast? The one that will instantly touch your listeners, that will stand out from the crowd, and will be on everyone's lips? We would like to give you the recipe, but a podcast requires a great deal of impulse creativity, and therefore there is no exact recipe. There are still some basic ingredients that we can find in the kitchen so that the final result is not too indigestible.

The best thing to do is to try to create a podcast and see the results.

  • Target audience of my podcast3:18

The temptation to talk to as many people as possible is high. If we do a podcast, we will want to be listened to, obviously. But to want to talk to everyone is actually to talk to nobody. By aiming for an ultra-large audience, you risk to trigger a chain of banalities. It's better to have a smaller audience that's greatly interested in what you're saying than a lot of people who listen to you halfway and end up not really knowing why they're doing this.

Sometimes you will have to reiterate your content until you get it right. The good news is that with LiLiCAST you can create different versions in a few clicks, which you can then modify as you wish.

Requirements

  • If you have something to tell and to share
