Helena Gutierrez is a trilingual Spanish entrepreneur, international PLM specialist and trainer, mother of two, business owner and co-founder of the #1 PLM eLearning EdTech company in Europe: Share PLM. Helena got her educational background in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid in Madrid, Spain.

While studying, Helena started working at her father’s small engineering company and helped him structure their product data into SmartTeam. That’s when she realized how powerful good data and strong processes were to working smart and keeping things organized. That’s where her love and passion for PLM really began.

After university, Helena immediately joined a small consulting firm as a PLM consultant and has been in the PLM world ever since. She’s worked with “big” PLM systems like Teamcenter, 3DX, SAP PLM, and Windchill in different industries.

In 2017, Helena, along with her university classmate and best friend, Beatriz González, created Share PLM with the mission to improve and simplify PLM education and generate awareness of how important it is. They have helped many well-known cloud PLM systems, such as OpenBOM, Upchain, and ShareAspace, and have built successful PLM training programs, courses, and eLearning solutions for a number of other companies across Europe and the USA like TECHNIA, Outotec, Quick Release, Methode Electronics, Salomon, and more.
