Enrolling in this course will help you learn the language of music through the use of a drum kit. You will be taught valuable skills and techniques to help express your inner musician, either just for the fun of it, or to the wider world.

Playing a musical instrument (especially the drums) is one of the greatest ways to keep your body fit, whilst at the same time improve limb coordination. Few other activities simultaneously engage both sides of the brain, whilst offering a more immersive experience of the senses, like learning a musical instrument. The schooling and training process is an ongoing journey every musician follows. Music really is a continuous and fascinating adventure.

I’ve had an intimate and rewarding relationship with music for many years. I perform it for a living, but I also teach it, I listen to it for pleasure. It has been my passion for as long as I can remember. Music is life - life is music.

The drum kit is a musical instrument capable of making thousands of people move as one. So, grab some sticks, fire up your laptop or phone, get yourself comfortable and let’s have some fun hitting things with bits of wood.
