Description

This course will brief about the difference between Microprocessor and Microcontroller. It also states the advantage of microcontroller over microprocessors. We are going to discuss the different types of the 8 bit Microcontrollers. We are going to discuss the pin structure and architecture of the PIC18. This will help the students to understand PIC18 more. We are going to discuss the different criteria's of choosing the microcontroller as per applications of we want to design which includes speed, power consumptions etc. Also we also going to discuss the different Ports available on PIC 18. For programming purpose, we are going to discuss some imports instructions of PIC18. We are going to discuss different types of registers like Working Register and Special Function Registers. We are going to learn the way or programming the Ports for Input and output operations. This will help students understand PIC Microcontroller programming. We are also going to discuss the generation of Square wave using Timer of PIC18. For generation of square wave, we need to calculate the value to be loaded in register to generate the specific delay. Also after completion of the course, they will learn the interfacing PIC18 with LED in MPLAB X IDE and Proteus software.

Who this course is for:

  • Those who wants to learn PIC18
