In this course you will exactly learn how to examine any neurological patient. You will learn the basic principles and techniques of the Bobath concept in neurological adult patients.
Why do you need this course?
The Bobath concept was developed by Berta Bobath and Karel Bobath. This concept was created for the recovery of the symptoms observed during the evaluation and therapy of patients with functional, postural and tonus problems, which have come due to a lesion of the central nervous system.
You need it because it is one of the most important methods that physical therapists, rehabilitation doctors, and occupational therapists use with neurological patients.
It is an important part of the rehabilitation in many patient groups, including patients with neurological diseases brain or spinal cord trauma, stroke patients, multiple sclerosis, peripheral paresis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, cerebral paresis, spastic patients and a host of other neurological problems.
During the course you will learn:
· How to examine the neurological cortical functions of the CNS
· How to examine the cranial nerves
· How to examine the deep tendon reflexes, the pathological and strength reflexes in neurological patients
· How to examine spasticity
· How to apply the basic techniques of the Bobath concept in a supine, lateral, seated and standing position.
After this course you will be able examine a neurological patient and understand the symptoms. The course is illustrated with the real patient so you can understand the principles and apply it easily in practice. Its super easy to understand it because I have explained it in detail, and step by step all the process. I have prepared many videos for the lectures, and you can also download the materials in pdf for the theoretical part.
