Learn the importance of renders and common render styles in Photoshop. Transform a 2D elevation and plan into a realistic 3D render with brushes and shading, then export high-quality results.
Organize and prepare layers to render elevations realistically: name layers, hide them to clean the canvas, set a background, and place images on top to create a 3D look.
Learn how to transform objects to scale in Photoshop, overlay them onto a plan drawing, duplicate and align lights and mirrors, adjust opacity, and remove the background for realistic renders.
Review the step-by-step process of converting a plan and elevations into a realistic render in Photoshop, including background removal, texture application, shading, and lighting.
Practice daily to improve Photoshop skills, subscribe to tutorial channels, gather inspiring references from Instagram or Pinterest, and explore alternative programs like Affinity Photo and Krita.

My name is Andre and I have been working as an Interior Architect for over 4 years. From working with big names such as Barlow & Barlow & Nina Campbell, I have gained a variety of different design skills that I can hopefully pass onto others. As part of my regular workflow, I constantly find myself creating renders and experimenting with different programs. As a result, I find that rendered drawings are essential to not only help show how a space will look visually but also understanding if certain objects work alongside other surrounding elements. When correctly done, these drawings allow clients, architects and other designers to understand your creative intentions. This is a skill that all designers should learn to master and improve on a regular basis. Therefore, I have made this course in hope that you can learn and apply this skill as part of your regular design work!
