In this class, we'll discuss how to identify the different tools that are commonly used for phone repairs. If you're new to phone repair or simply unfamiliar with the different tools, this video will provide you with a helpful guide.

First, we'll cover the basic tools that are required for most phone repairs. These include screwdrivers of various sizes, spudgers, tweezers, and a heat gun or hairdryer.

The screwdrivers are used to remove the screws that hold the phone's case together. Spudgers are used to pry open the phone's case and to remove delicate components such as the battery or screen. Tweezers are used to hold small components and to manipulate small parts during repairs. Heat guns or hairdryers are used to soften adhesives and make it easier to remove components.

Next, we'll cover more specialized tools that are required for specific repairs. These include:

    • Soldering iron and solder wire: used for soldering and desoldering electronic components

    • Multimeter: used to measure voltage, current, and resistance in electrical circuits

    • Microscope or magnifying glass: used to see small components and details more clearly

    • ESD (electrostatic discharge) mat and wrist strap: used to protect delicate electronic components from static electricity

It's important to note that not all repairs require every tool on this list. It's important to assess the repair you're working on and gather the necessary tools beforehand.

By the end of this video, you'll have a better understanding of the different tools used in phone repairs, and you'll be better equipped to tackle your own repairs. Remember to always use caution and safety measures when working with delicate electronic components.

    Welcome to this Class.

Here we are going to learn how to replace the LCD screen on your Tecno Android phone. Dropping your phone and breaking the screen is a common occurrence, but it doesn't have to mean a costly trip to the repair shop. In this video, we will show you how to do it yourself, step-by-step.

    Voice-over:

Step 1: Gather the tools you need

Before you start, you will need to gather some tools. You will need a Phillips head screwdriver, a plastic opening tool, a spudger, and a suction cup.

Step 2: Power off your phone

The first thing you need to do is to power off your phone. Make sure that it is completely turned off before proceeding.

Step 3: Remove the back cover and battery

Use your plastic opening tool to remove the back cover of your phone. Once the cover is removed, take out the battery.

Step 4: Remove the SIM and SD card

Using your plastic opening tool, remove the SIM and SD card from your phone.

    Step 5: Remove the screws

Using your Phillips head screwdriver, remove the screws on the back of your phone.

Step 6: Remove the back frame

Use your plastic opening tool to gently pry off the back frame of your phone.

Step 7: Remove the broken screen

Once the back frame is removed, you can see the broken screen. Use your spudger to carefully pry off the broken screen.

    Step 8: Disconnect the cables

Using your spudger, carefully disconnect the cables that connect the screen to the phone's motherboard.

    Step 9: Remove the screen

Once the cables are disconnected, use your suction cup to lift the screen away from the phone.

Step 10: Install the new screen

Now it's time to install the new screen. Carefully place the new screen into position and reconnect the cables.

    Step 11: Reassemble the phone
