Description

The Petrel Reservoir Engineering Workflow Towards Eclipse Simulation course introduces the theoretical basics and fundamentals for the simulation and reservoir characterization and dynamic modelling. This course is mainly a practical training providing a case study to implement the essential elements of a simulation by including all aspects on how to build a dynamic model using Petrel RE in easy way to ensure the DATA file to run in Eclipse is perfectly well elaborated and designed after export. In this course you will learn the Petrel RE interface with all necessary options needed to prepare the dynamic simulation project in order to simulate the full field development plan or make a specific study including constraints and alternative operations needed to succeed the study. Petrel RE workflow as a best tool will allow you to do many things in good manner and best procedure with visualization checks and elaboration the desired strategies enabling simulation on eclipse or another software without errors.

  • Learn how to construct the eclipse data file to run with more comprehension and understanding of that data file.

  • Understand the Petrel RE menu and its interface for an easy way of working and maps and plots visualization.

  • Learn how to generate observed data to be matched during history matching process.
