Crash course on PCB design: 3D Package and Board Design Approach, this lecture explains about the topics covered in the course.
This lecture explains you about the schematic preparation on eagle cad PCB tool. You will learn about the environment where there are many options and attributes to make circuit. All attributes and commands are explained clearly with the examples.
PCB Design and development has umpteen errors while creating. We explain about those errors while designing circuit in eagle cad pcb tool.
This lecture explains you about the component selection based on the many criteria to form a proper circuit and its output. Also depending upon the availability of the component near your location. This class also includes the part search, preparing quotation based on the price and quick availability. The whole procedure is known in term of BOM (Bill Of Material).
This class explains you about the footprint creation of the required components of the project. Through hole and SMD components are used in the PCB and explained about the through hole footprint creation.
Here I explained about the 3D step model creation using autodesk eagle cad's fusion 360 software. Based on the footprint we created in the last class, updated those footprint library as managed library and created an environment to add 3D package, later generated the 3D packages using same datasheet which are used to create the footprints.
Assignment to create footprints of Capacitor, DC-Jack, Diode, LED, Regulator and Resistor. The respective datasheets are attached. Also create the 3D step models.
Explained about how to create the PCB board shape required to push to fushion 360 software. Also explained about the net rules and defined the manufacturing standards into DRC.
This class explained about the component placement on the PCB board, Net class and Net rule assignment, Routing in any one layer of the PCB along with that explained about the plane creation.
This lecture explained about how to switch between PCB board to Fusion 360 that is 3D software. In other words, pushing the PCB to 3D in Fusion 360. Also done the 3D overview of the fusion 360 software and explained the minor and major adjustment about the components on the PCB. Also explained about the CAM processor to generate the Gerber file and Drill files.
