Session: 2 - Types of Intellectual Property Right: This session covers various IPs like Patent, Trademark, Copyright, Geographical indications, Industrial Design. As the course is focused more on Patent, all IPs are briefly and effectively introduced with some example
Session: 3 & 4 - Patent and Patent System: These sessions cover important aspects of the patent in a very fine manner to build a foundation for subsequent sessions.
The second part of the course is accentuating over development of patent search skill among the stakeholders of research and innovation. It covers the basics of patent search, patent search over the open-source database and commercial database with a hands-on activity.
Session: 5 to 7: These sessions covers a basic introduction to the importance of patent search, advantages and disadvantages of open-source and commercial databases, patent search hands-on training using free and commercial databases.
